About Us
álainn • bella, pronounced awe•lynn bella, is equal parts Gaelic and Italian and translated means beautiful, beautiful. The idea to launch in May 2010 was out of the blue and started on a dime, so we understand a budget. We try to keep our items affordable, but occasionally a more expensive item sneaks on in when we feel it’s worth it. We are growing season by season and are slowly molding á•b to bring you the best one-two punch of affordable, chic clothing and accessories.
We love our customers and think of every one of you as a friend. We want to help you in any way we can. We’ve started out as a home-based business so we are always here to answer your questions. We would love to hear from you anytime, from a ‘hello’ to some feedback to ‘will this size fit me?’ We hope to bring you a selection that keeps you returning. About the Owner
I’m Megan, the owner and worker bee of álainn • bella! I personally answer all phone calls and emails, often at 4:31am. I do the buying, packing, shipping, and can be seen from the neck down in the product pictures, nbd. I have a cast of friends and family who have graciously lent an intern hand to help me get started and I can never be thankful enough for their support. In my spare time I’m a movie/tv junkie, I treat my English Bulldog named Pappy like solid gold, and can be found singing along to the most ridiculous iTunes library that starts with music from 20 years before my time. I love what I do and hope you enjoy shopping with me!
